Default 1999 312 for Sale

Does anyone know this 312 that is on FleaBay?-

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...n%3D3%26ps%3D5

Wondered if it is as clean as it looks- any history or details would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rick

I think that boat was listed on Craigslist as an Phoenix Arizona boat back in May/June.

Looks like it is out of Kentucky-
appears to have been kept in tip top shape and has a lot of bolt on goodies like the exhaust, canfield heads, low water pickups, the external steering, and the Kplanes.

How should a 312 run out with 502's with mild enhancements- cruise at 50mph and top out at 75mph?

It didn't sell on Ebay so I am going to make a call to the owner. Before I head up to Kentucky do any of you experienced guys see anything questionable? One question will be the salvage trailer- what's with that...

Thanks for your help folks!
Rick

PQ230:

For comparison, I have a 2003 312 with 496 mags listed at the dealership. Asking $59,900

MegaByte 3,

Please give me details, boat looks clean and has low hours, are the 496's still stock or have any mods been done, how well does the boat run with that power- cruise 50's and top end 72ish? What does the boat need to make it almost perfect?

thanks, Rich

My old 312 with 502's was a 70 mph boat everyday.....72-73 on a GOOD day. That 2003 looks like a good deal but with 375hp 496's it'll only hit 70 under the best of conditions.
