I finally picked up a 1989 357. It was listed on oso - it was the one up in chicago. Left Pittsburgh Friday night at midnight and drove overnight to Chi town. Picked up the boat and turned around and headed back to the 'burgh. Launched it as soon as I got back. Took it right to Heinz Field for the Steeler game. What a great weekend! Love it so far.

I'll work on getting some pics up because I know that is what you all are going to ask for!!

Oh by the way...

Does anybody have or know where to get a stock VDO tach for my 357? The one is on the fritz? Any recommednations for replacements?

Also, I know this is a crazy stab in the dark and completely rediculous, but... does anybody have a set of the glass liquor decantors for sale??? i always loved those!

Try this source. I got VDO sending units from them and noticed on their website replacement VDO gauges of our vintage. Very nice guys to work with too.

I probably have a whole set up that came off a 357. You can have it. I can not get to it quick but if you can hang in there a little bit I almost certain that the tacks were working.

Congrats on the new boat. What kind of speed are you seeing . I have one also and would like to compare with the set up you have.
