Helo fellow Formula owners!!

Hope you can help me with some good advice how to
open the engine hatch on my 1988 242 SS. The electric
hatch lifter has broken, what is the easiest way to open it
I need to dismantle the lifter to lift the hatct, but seems dificult
anyone have any idea what I can do??

On my 242LS the hatch is heavy put you can lift it, not sure on a SS. Take the actuator apart and grease it, just might be and easy fix.

The hatch can be manually lifted enough to pull the pin at the top.Takes 2 people,one to physically lift the hatch,and the other one pulls the pin out.
