Suitable...? yes. CLose cooled, reliable when stock, and easy to maintain. Thats a big heavy boat and it will be slow with that power. Why not build some bigger custom power? Dont know the price for all that stuff. No transmission with bravos....internally shifted.

Not sure of price but I saw a package deal for complete 525 take-outs with drives, steering, etc in the classifieds for $50K I believe.A 496 package can't be that much cheaper once you buy everything.
496's.....mid 60's
525's.....low 70's

94 382 Fas-tech..........NOT... standard V-bottom(fas-tech started in 1997)

The 496 hos may be a little small ....but if they are mag,hos at 425hp would make a very nice package..

If you are the guy in the other post in greece what problems do you have with gas octane there?...............

Buy 496s (375/385hp) from Crusader, Marine Power, or perhaps even Raylar. Then throw Raylar's 525hp kits in them. Add a really good aftermarket exhaust and you'll still be under $20k/side.

That's just motors......he needs transom assemblies, exhaust, hydraulic steering, etc.
