Just installed a new Whipple Charger on my 95 271, ran it's @ss off for about 25 min. Had to slow for a no wake zone, then started to run rough, like a plug went bad, then like it was coming apart. Idled it back to ramp, checked plugs and #7 ,#3 were full of water.
on the port side 2468 were wet also. Was hopeing a cracked manifold, but on both sides??? Un- hooked manifolds cranked motor over again, still lots of water. My guess is head gaskets, went from the
added pressure.
One way or another it's coming apart. How big of a cylender head could I run with the blower and be efficiant (6/ 7 psi boost), and how much to bore over and be reliable!! Still have the mefi3 computer, like to leave alone, heard nothing but horror stories, of people reflashing.
Any help would be great. Leaning towards AFR aluminum heads.
also have a closed cooling system.
