Default Does Formula Make A Short Window

For the 302? If so anyone know were I can find one? I am looking to change the window and make it shorter. Not only do I think it will look better but I also think that it will make it easier to get up to the bow. I am going to have to pull it off at some point to re-seal it so what the heck!!

Hi Jon , Rick G here. When I first got my 302 I contacted the factory to find out which company originally made the shorter wind sheild on the 302 SRI. If you have an original brouchure you can see it there. I don,t remeber the name but I did contact them to see if they still had the pattern, and much to my disappointment they no longer have the specs. Email the factory and they will send you an original brouchure and wiring details and you can see what the factory shorty wind sheild looks like . It is vertually a trimmed down version of what is currently installed . I would think any wind sheild manufacturer can replicate it. By the way how does the glass come out of the frame as I would like to reseal mine as well. I am almost finished installing my new rub rail, what a pain as like you I am thru bolting every six inches. Hope that helps Rick G

Jon, you're a smart man to take Mark up on his offer. I think it was Waterbonnet that did the original windscreen, but you can forget about help from that end. Or, as Astro on the Jetsons would say..."Rotsa ruck!"

I cut mine down on my 242. It's a little more work than it looks like but worth the effort. It does make it alot easier to get up to the bow.

Default windshield 302 formula

I probably have the information you need about your windshield. I am a Water Bonett authorized shop and also receive work from the factory. George

Don't have a digital camera but I'll see if I can borrow one. Might take a few days.
