I bought them direct from Eddie Marine. Ran a little over $100 total. Two 6" handles p/n 275-50P and two backing plates p/n 275-35P. The 'P' stands for polished, but you can get them in a lot of different colors. They are billet aluminum, so for polished I also requested clear-coat anodized.

BTW, welcome to OSO! Nice looking 292. I like the paint.

I did the same handles last summer in blue on my 353, they are great looking !!

hmmmm... no, the 292 is not offered with big blocks. Went with the largest small block - 6.2's. Best top speed so far is 71.5 mph. 69-70 mph in any condition.

Don't get why they don't offer big blocks?? I have 350 MAGs... best I've seen is 70 and that was PERFECT conditions...normally 67-68 max.

I was told at the factory, it was for 2 reasns, one being a twin step, the hull would not like the weight of the BB and the second is lack of room.

Bill, the boat you looked at was at Shipyard,right? I looked at that one too, nice boat, but way to much color for you, and not enough for me.
