Hey guys, I have a question if I may ask... I am renewing my insurance and I think these prices are too high. If I may ask, what are you guys paying with what deductables. I am through Markel with a 3K deductable, That is what I have to have becasue it is a "performance" boat and my premium is 1300 per year. I have a credit score of 780 and a crystal clean record andhave NEVER had a claim and have 25 years of boating experience...

TIA!!!

Bill, I'll have to check exactly what my premium is when I get back home today. I don't believe mine is quite that high, and all of my "stats" are similar to yours. I will say my 292 is insured with American Family, they also insure my house, wifes 07 Tahoe and my pontoon boat. I do know my deductable is definatly lower, but like I said I'll check it out and let you know exact numbers later.

That does seem pretty high. Have you tried State Farm? I've got an 06 353 w/ HO's and pay slightly over $1K/yr, w/ a $500 Ded.

$781/year, $1,000 deductable.

House and all our stuff is insured by American Family. Clean record and 10% discount from taking a boating safety class through the USCGA.
