Hello,
I have a 2002 Formula 271 and I am thinking about trading it or selling it outright. I'm having trouble nailing down a price, so I need your help! About the boat: 496HO, Dana exhaust system, Bravo1X 1.65:1 ratio, Hydromotive Five blade 25pitch prop, GPS Speedo, 103 Fresh Water hours, 2005 Eagle trailer, very well maintained, new ECU installed last year to reduce transom soot ( Mercury paid for it).
I have a bad case of OCD.... so the boat, trailer, and interior are in great shape. Please give me your thoughts!
Thanks

Hey 88242LS, Thanks for the nice comment about my boat...you made my day! I have not settled on a perticular size boat at this point, but I do like the Donzi 22 Classic. I think my future will consist of boating on smaller inland lakes...i have a new born....wife doesn't want to bounce the boy around right now. I'm sure when he is a little older it will not be a problem?

Anger Management,
I agree - awesome looking 271! I'm not sure if you purchased the Formula from us (I work at Shipyard Marine) but I would be more than happy helping you sell outright or trade. We have a beautiful New Black 08 22 classic with the HO in it that is as eye-catching as it is fast!
Please feel free to give me a call with any questions you may have on the 271!
Best,

Hi AM,
I just saw a fairly new 271 Fastec (2001/2) in the Seattle area with a Volvo Penta DPX 500 (475 HP) for 30k, so the prices are all over the place.... You might be better off trading it in on something...

Hey Donzi1200s, What are you guys looking to get for that 2008 22 Classic? Is that the same boat that was at the boat show in Milwaukee? If it is, I think the exterior color is nice, but the red interior wouldn't be my first choice. Does Donzi have an option for a sunpad on the engine hatch?
Thanks

Blue242, That is a great price for a 271...if your on the buying side...bad for the guy selling it! Sounds like the guy really wants to unload it quick? The cheapest I've seen are in the high 40's.
Thanks for the reply.

AM,
Yes, it was the 22 Classic that we had sitting next to the aisle at the Milwaukee boat show. From my homework, it seems as though there is no option for a sunpad on the back hatch. I did, however, find a local company (around Oshkosh) that will make a matching piece for under 1K. As for pricing, we would still be willing to honor show pricing. Please PM me; I'd like to get more information on the 271 - it's a trade we'd be very interested in.
You can also call or e-mail me directly today.

I have one correction to an earlier post that I submitted. My boat has 110 hrs on it not 103 hrs, sorry. I forgot to add the seven hours I put on it last year. The boat is now forsale on OSO under the classifies section, and a few other boating sites.
