Cool Tim!!! That'll make a real nice package. Sounds like you'll keep the ship for a while. Good luck with the repower.
Pictures are always welcome!!!

For those of you that have removed your Silent Thunder Platform and going Aluminum... Who are you using to build or manufacture your aluminum platform? I am looking at trying to find a good aluminum platform without spending the big bucks! Thanks

I purchased mine on Ebay.. It supposedly came off a 36 Cig.... $500 bucks for the platform, $100 bucks for some welding work to set up the mount braces the way I wanted them... I'll be posting pics as soon as its painted and mounted. I'll be moving to OKC the end of June.... SR1kid what lake do you hit most of the time down there?

Most of us Tulsa boys run to Grand Lake O' the Cherokees. There is a great Formula following down here. I have a 272 and a 419.

On the platform issue, I bought my boat without a platform and was looking at aluminum. I have dry headers and didn't want to go with silent thunder. I ended up grabbing a teak platform from an old Trojan, redid it, and love it! I'll get some pics if you would like.

There is a 1986 357 being parted out on craigslist detroit. Couldn't tell from the pictures if the silent thunder was damaged since there was a tarp over that portion of the transom.
