Thank you Dave for working on this step/cup holder project. This is one component in the Formula that looks a bit 'cheap' and is screaming for an upgrade! I remember when one of my brothers got in my new 292 for the first time he commented while pointing at the plastic hinged step and said 'that doesn't look like it will last very long...' Hey all: My order for "fat handles" arrived yesterday and I mounted them today. I am anxious to see Dave's cup holder addition. Here is a note to Dave. I noticed the space between the new backing plate and the current plastic cup holder plate is minimal. Your new billet design cannot be any thicker than the current plastic plate or we are all messed up to make this combination work!
