What do you guys think of this boat? I have something to trade that is as hard to sell as a boat right now! It's worth more than he is asking, (blue book), which doesn't mean much if you can't get somebody to buy it. LOL

thanks, I guess I'm just worried about the value, I'm not too familiar with Formula except name. I've owned numerous boats but always with fishing in mind

Thanks. I thought it sounded a little too high. I don't think the motor is a big deal after talking to him, but like you said an inspection will tell. I am meeting him this morning to look at it.

I just bought an 88' with bigblocks and bravos that needs nothing for 16,800. So far from what I can tell these are great boats, however I don't think i'd pay more than 13k or so for that particular one.

No Silent Thunder, funky ladder, need to pull motor to change seal (is that REALLY all that's wrong with it, or the other motor?), skeleton on the deck.
$10k if everything else checks out. You'll have $15k into it by the time you clean up all the stuff you'll find once you bring it home.
The black is kinda cool if you're into that, as long as it's original gel coat in good condition. The original graphics were probably sanded off, possibly painted over.

Just My $.02, Doesn't the Trailer have a Value that should be considered? Looks like a decent alum duel axle Trailer. If You needed one wouldn't you pay, what? $1500-$2500?? for one used let alone New. If you were selling this boat would you not sell the fact that this is a package deal with the trailer??? In NY we would have to reg them separately and DMV wants a value (for sales tax of course).
Just My thought
