I am looking to find a formula 292 F1 boat!! I have found a few but they are very differnet in price. some are run hard and others look as if they have never been used. Plus i dont know what one of those boats is worth. The have no comforts of the factroy boat, and i am worried about the resale of the boat. Any thoughts would be good. I am looking for a good boat that runs about 80 and has reliable power. i dont want anything that is modified or tweaked to the max to get those speeds. i just want a fun fast boat. thanks for the time to respond to my post.

There was one of these boats on Ebay for a year or so.. I almost bought it at one time . It ended up selling last season for 30k, which i thought was a steal. The boats run 83 mph. I love the boat, but the problem I saw was the interior space. The dash panel comes so far back that there is no leg room for rear seat passengers.. Also, you have to climb over the front seats to get into them. I can do without the front cabin myself, but the outside seating space made it very impractical to use it as a pleasure boat. I saw one listed at a dealer in Florida a couple months ago. I believe they were asking 55k.. Jeff Wurl

The one to have seems to be the one out in St. Louis with the pleasure interior that was put in by Formula. I was thinking about this boat but was a little more than I wanted to spend. Dont think it was ever raced and has an innovation 575hp 496 motor.
