Hey guys I'm playing with the prop and looking to see what everyone has I am looking for STOCK power numbers on a 502 bravo 1 1.50 ratio, preferably 92-96 but it doesn't seem the fastech numbers were much differant so I'll take them.
mine is a 93 with a 502 probally slightly on the tired side of life but it still purrs. It came with a 21 mirage on it that needs to be cleaned up, I've had her to 58 once almost always 57 usually in the 4900 rpm range. the other day I tried a 19 hydramotive 4 blade ran 56.7 and about 46-4700 rpm's, but it seemed to be that my hole shot (which as u know is a problem with the 271) and cruise were better.. so I am considering it, just wanted to see what you guys were using and getting.
also a guy on the Formula forum said he took something outta the trim arms that sucked the lower unit in to help plane but has to trim up quickly otherwise the 271 has a bad bow steer any truth to this?? and what did he remove I can't seem to figure it out bye looking at it
thanks
