Bondo10 - National Liquidators can be difficult to deal with as an individual trying to bid on a boat. Unless you can get there or have someone you trust get there to check it out, I would be careful. There are some good deals to be had at NL but they can try your patience when you want to bid on a boat. You can make your offer contingent on engine start up, or a full blown marine survey etc, but I have heard that they don't like a lot of contingencies on deals. I have bid on boats there and received a somewhat cool reception from them and had to bug the crap out of them to get info.

GOOD LUCK...By the way, what is that .com logo on the side of that boat....looks tacky!

If anybody wants local eyes, I'm in the vicinity.

I hardly need an excuse to go down there and bug 'em for you.

And chances are, T500hps's 382 is definitely a better deal...

Thanks For The Input Guys. T500ps Your Boat Looks Perfect, and A Very Attractive Price, but I Run Alot In Salt And Looking For Closed Cooling. I Finaly Spoke With Someone At National Liquidators, who Was A Little Helpful. They Have A Tentitive Agreement And Won't Know Until Monday If Its Sold.it's A 2003 With 525's And 121 Hours. I've Been Told That The 525's Were Spiecial Order Only In 2003. Any Input?

2003 was a switch-over year so it could be a late 2003 "special order" vwith 525's???
Closed cooling is not a big deal to add. I have less hours than that on these motors and the boat has never been launched in salt water.....it has been run 100 miles down river into salt conditions and driven back upriver the next day a couple times but the round trip back flushes everything out before it even hits the trailer. We launch at our own private ramp/dock so I flush the AC system and wash the boat before I even pull it to the garage.

My boat and upgrades have been well covered on the forums over the last couple years and BTW: I bought this boat with a 1999 312 sitting beside it until it sold.

and......they submit bids to the banks on Mondays, probably won't know anything until Wed.

Anyone wanting a 382 should look at T500's boat.as I know how meticulous he is.Adding closed cooling is no big deal.

Thanks Robert.....did you ever see the dash pics. Follow the link and you'll see a number of upgrades since you last saw the boat.

You gotta love Natl Marine. What is a tentative agreement? Maybe the sucessful bidder had contingencies built in to their offer. In todays world of technology, wouldn't it make sense to put the auctions on line to let everybody see the bidding price? It sure would have a more legitimate feel to everyone and may even net them a higher number on the boats. It just doesn't give you the feel of a legitimate deal when all the bidding is behind the scenes!

Just my .02 worth.
