Default Getting My First Boat

I am ready to get my first boat and I am looking at Formulas, I really like the design and quality of the ones I have seen. Mid to late 80's.

What do you guys think I can get for my money. I defiantly don't want a project boat. I am thinking 272 or a 311. I saw a 335 for sale with one blown engine but I think it will be too much work for the money.

I have a v8 tundra so towing weight is somewhat of a concern but I live less then a mile from the put in., but for log distances I can call in a few fav.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Its unrealistic for a 272 to be a 70+ boat ?

Because they are too heavy and it would just be better to go lighter if I wanted more speed ?
