We have twin 600's on our 382. It is a fun boat but I think the reason for not seeing this setup is because it is packaged with XR drives. 600hp is at the top of what the XR can handle. It is a fun, somewhat fast boat though. It does suck when we run next to Donzi, Fountain, Cigarettes, etc the same length with 525s and getting beat. Our 600 382 has seen 86-87mph in optimal conditions. It was just not fast enough for us so we added a 43 Donzi ZR with triple 700s. We couldnt let the Formula go though so we are keeping it as well

I Agree With Premierpower. We All Know Why We Buy Birds, and It's Not For Speed, but More For Quality.don't Get Me Wrong,i Would Much Rather Have 600's Or Even 700's. But Would Never Give Up The Ride Or Resale That A Formula Offers. I Don't Know Who Posted It But I Read A Great Post On Oso A Few Months Ago That Said "if You Want A Faster Boat, buy A Faster Boat"
