Thinking of moving up from a Formula 252 to a fastech 353 or 382. Also considering a Cigarette 35 or 38. Has anyone had direct experience with these two type of boats. Will be used in LI Sound, Northeast. 500 efi's , looking for smooth ride in 3-4 foot water. Tired of getting beat up. Looking for a 2000 or 2001 thats all I can afford.

You really need to go and try them both out. You are looking at two VERY different boats. The Formula will have the creature comforts and good ride. The cig will take a beating a little better but will not be as ergonomic. If you sit in all 4 boats I think it will quickly become clear what one suits your boating best.
