I assume you are talking scorpions? I have heard upper 70's to around 80+/- depending how strong the motors are. Remember the scorpions need a minimum of 93 octane

The regular 6.2 320 horsepower engines are 377 ci. That's the more common set up in the 292 Fastechs and runs on low octane fuel, 93 is not required for them. My '06 292 with regular twin 320 horse 6.2 Bravo's went 70 on a good day and 68 anytime. The Scorpion engines where basically the Merc HP blue version of the 377's. Don't know a whole lot about them but someone else who does may be able to elaborate.

Thx Pat I went to the mercury sight they stated use 91 octane with the 377 Scorpions . I have a deposit on the292 with Scorpions in the classifieds here, I can deal with 91 ,93 is tough to find around here at the docks thx again for your input

Cool! Good luck with the boat. It looks nice and a pretty good deal too. I really liked my 292, I bet they run great with the Scorpion engines.
