If all you have to do is the top of yourbow you can do it by hand. Start with 400 grit then 600, 800 then buff with 3m super duty with a high speed wheel w/wool pad. Then finish with wax (colinite 885). The white is a more forgiving and you can skip polishing with finese it in my opinion.

Your dash is not plasitic is gelcoat. you're going to need to pull the windshield off and follow the steps I listed above.

You can get plastic cleaner and polish at west marine.

Wow thanks! So you need to wet the sand paper? For how long do you work in one spot and how hard do you press? Any chance you can give me a brief step by step?

my dash is the black gel it was turning gray. I used pledge to bring it back to life never removed the windshield
