A little Formula trivia

I've often wondered what the "SR1" moniker of the late '80's Formulas stood for. I was going to call Formula to find out but it'll be more intersting to see what everyone here thinks it stands for. I have no idea.

I would think the LS would have been Luxury Series, and my guess would be that the "SR1" would be Sport & Racing, in that the bolsters would have been in line with that back in the era.
With the "1" indicating it's percieved ranking amoungst those in the fray.

Intersting replies. We'll let this go for a bit then if no one is absolutely sure, I'll contact Formula to see who was right.
I think I'll go with Zupman, Super Racing 1 sounds plausible.
As for you Ragged, the only "perception" is that your boat is actually 35 feet long.
