1989 Formula 272 Sr1 - Impressions
Hi Formula Guys, i am selling my Cig and i have the opportunity to buy a 1989 Formula 272. Since there are not a lo t of them here in Italy, would like to know impressions on this kind of boat and how's running with a couple of 350's and alpha one.

It`s not a bad package lots of room to work in the bilge, I think speed will only be 60-62, if I remember right. A bit slower than the cig.

They are one of very few boats I'd consider at that age. Built very well and as noted will run low 60mph range. As with anything that age have it checked out closely, if taken care of it will be great, hidden issues could be there.

what type of seas do you boat in? I love mine. Rides smooth at 40mph in 3ft seas, it starts getting a little uncomfortable in 4's. Don't think think i'd wanna be on the water in 5ft with it
