Need new tab for anchor access area on 2001 280BR
#1
The entire white pull tab broke the other day. I need to get a new one asap.
Anyone have a suggestion where to go or what to actually call the part?
Thanks

Formula uses, as many other builders, Southco pull latches available LOTS of places in white, black or stainless
probably the same one used on your head door...
hit ebay, Defender, lots of marine supplies carry them as they are common
the 2" non-locking (no key lock) in stainless are $25-30 shipped
get the stainless, nice little bling upgrade and more stout than plastic!
putting one on my anchor locker on my 353 to replace the white plastic one, that's why I'm familiar

With information from Robert Nelems (Magicfloat) we just replaced all of the latches on our '99 280SS after having one of the latches under the sink break. Plus, all were starting to fade, especially the anchor hatch.
The latch is a Southco M1-63-1 for the white plastic latch (and that's M-ONE, not M-letter i)
We went with stainless (M1-63-8) and replaced all in the boat except bathroom door (I ordered 1 too few).
I found a seller on ebay (oemarine) who sold me 6 stainless for $80.00 total. They are priced higher than that with his buy it now price so contact seller direct.
It's a simple upgrade and looks great. Took me less than 20 minutes to replace them all. Remove 2 screws in the back and pull the retaining ring and the latch slips out of the hole. Replace with new, make sure it is straight, and replace the 2 screws.
