Question 2002 400ss windshield

Found myself a 400ss that I am looking at.

The current owner broke the entire piece of glass on the front windshield of the 400ss.

The framing and everything appears okay, but the glass is broken, so it has all been removed.

Anyone know who makes this, or where to order and get it? I figured a dealer will really take me to the cleaners on it, so thought I would check and see.

Anyone know of any other issues with the 02 400ss that I should look for or be concerned with?

Thanks in advance.

Formula tech support is great. Call the factory and ask for guidance on the windshield. Really. I was surprised how well staffed they are to answer these kinds of questions.

Could you share the phone number that you've used to get the answers to your questions. I've heard people say what great service they've recieved more than once so I'm thinking I'm calling the wrong place When I call the main number they've given me a customer service tech number and I've yet to ever have anyone answer it. I've only ever gotten a voicemail and then only gotten one call back in four tries. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my 400ss and I'm thinking that the much rumoured TAG department must be out there somewhere ready to answer all my wierd Formula parts questions.....................I'm apparently just not smart enough to find them. I feel like I missed the big Formula owners meeting where they showed everyone the secret handshake you need to get the good information

Formula tech center number is 260-724-1412. Kerry Davis I believe is in charge of the department. I have dealt with him with issues with my 400 and he has been great. Another good contact in tech/purchasing is Scott Smith. Be patient when leaving him a message. Takes a day or so to get back to you due to the volume. Taylor made makes the glass that is used for the windshield.

Anyone know of a Formula graveyard where you might find damaged boats that you could salvage parts from?

This is the piece DIRECTLY in front of the driver... Rumor is it comes from Taylor made and is $10k from the dealer....
