I have seen some of these that look just like another swim platform bolted directly on the back... so you actually have 2 ladders and pull up hatch things.

Then I have seen some where the new piece lays on top of the entire old platform and extends it out further.

Wondering what the differences were, brands, options, prices, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

In 2005 the platform attached under the rubrail, they typically sealed the top ladder hatch and removed the handle. In 2006 they re-designed it to sit on top of the molded platform and gave it a cleaner look, IMO. That platform is still used on 370 & 400 today.
