Hi Guys
I have been looking at a Formula 303 Sr1 94 mod. bravo1 drives without engines. The boat is in mint condition, a real beauty.
What kind of power should I choose????
In Norway boats and engines are very expensive, ex
used 454 efi or 454 mag efi in good condition approx.
12-15000 usd. Mint 502 efi aprox 19 - 20000 usd
45+ cruising speed
65 mph minimum speed
Fuel efficient (we are paying 8,3 Usd per gallon)
Only stock engines, no blowers etc.
Could 6,2 320 hp small blocks be an alternative??

Lots of 303 love lately.
That's a pretty boat. 6.2s would probably put you in that range. They push the 292 Fastech right at 70, which is obviously a lighter and more efficient hull. So in a 303, 65mph or close to it should be attainable.
Keep us posted on the project!
