NEW NEWS! Robert (Nelems Marine) announced yesterday in the Formula thread that he has been dropped as a formula dealer, he posted it and deleted his post about 2 hrs later.

wow, i hope he still is around on the forums he is a class act anf if Formula dropped him thats there loss

Formula is now selling patrs direct to the consumer just bought some stuff from them

Frank from Typhoon called this 3 years ago.All boat dealers will go direct,boats and parts within the next five years.Or they won't be here the industry simply can not support the added cost to boats.And most dealers are not worth a chit anyway.

Wow, sad to hear about Robert. I was on Formula's website and I entered my zip code and the local dealer has been dropped. It does appear that they are re-structuring their dealerships.

Wow, I thought Nelems was one of the bigger dealers!!! Too bad for Robert, I bought a few things over the phone with him and he was outstanding to deal with. I even caught at a boat show on his cell phone, he was pretty busy and he still took care of me.

Hmmmm...:confused: I just did a dealer search near Jasper, AL on the Formula website and Nelems Marine still shows up.
