Changing trim indicator cables?

Has anyone had the fun experience of replacing the trim indicator cables on a '97 312 Fastech??? I ordered the cables today as they are sticking. Any suggestions or top secret tips???

I'VE CHANGED OUT THE ONES ON MY 1991 311. NOT TO BAD OF A JOB, JUST PULL THE NEW ONES THOUGH AS YOU PULL THE OLD ONES OUT. AND GET SOMEONE TO HELP PUSH, PULL AND GUIDE .
