Default 292 Anchor Light Post

I have a 2008 292 Fastech that came with what appears top be the wrong anchor light post. Its about 5' long and is jointed and folds in the middle. Seems a little tall for the boat. Does this sound correct

Its right, and its not an anchor lite.It is your rear navigation lite and should be in at all times while running after dusk.Watch your speed if you are running with it in.Not that you should be running fast at night but I have heard of them come out.
