I posted this in a separate section...wondering if formula owners could suggest something.


I have 6.2's and my port engine seems to be squealing a bit...

What are the likely culprits? Belt, bearings...

We just changed the water impellar on that engine...I am thinking the belt wasnt set to tension tight enough. Wasnt making the noise before the install...Any suggestions.

I'd start by applying some belt dressing to the belt to see if that's the culprit. If you don't have any belt dressing, you can use a bar of soap, just be careful putting your hand in there when applying the soap.
