Why? The ladder on my 292 has a lifetime manufactures warranty. I have an 02 as well. I would suggest getting in touch with them.

Ladder got trahed. Do not try and move the boat with the trim up and the ladder down. I am lucky I did not damage the prop. Still looking for a new or used one.
