Nort drop a Sling box in at your house then you can stream in all your video from the home to the boat. :-)

Here you go:
Hull/Deck thread

OSO forums have a search feature (see the blue toolbar above), so you can look for things like this.

I used the sprint 3G as well as 4G. The 4G is better of course but the 3G works. As I recall you have the Iphone. You would have to make sure that they can stream out the video live. I had to root my droid to do it at first. Now I use the phone as a hot spot and stream to my tv through my boxee box. It works well, picture quality is acceptable. Can be a little bit slow to search channels but picture quality is good.

Techies,,
I need to use my I phone as a video display without Wi fi..I want to install a camera as a back up on a compact tractor. I have run in to dead ends with the local best buy, Frys ect. The camera can be hard wired and not battery operated. There are some remote toy helicopters that must generate their own wi fi signal to video display on a smart phone? any thoughts?

Well for one, you are kinda in the wrong place. I have never seen an iPhone hard wired as a monitor but I am not an iPhone guy. Why do you need to use your phone though? Why not just buy a backup camera setup off eBay that includes a small screen and camera? They can be had for like 50 bucks, and are also available with wireless video feeds. A few of my big trailers have wireless backup cameras installed and it’s a huge help at night (they are IR cameras). I know a few people with cameras on their tractors as well and this is what most have done. Try tractorbynet.com
