Hey guys, anbody tried CMI headers on 6.2 MPI motors? I've got a 2007 Formula 292 and lookin' for a bit more mid-range power and maybe a tad on the top end. Thought??.....

From what I've heard....... these motors really don't respond much to headers....but I could be wrong.

I think "Expensive Date" put different headers on his 6.2's....maybe he'll chime in.

You are throwing money away with headers.I did get rid of my cast iron Mercury exhaust and put aluminum Imco on.While I did not pick up speed the boat with 270lbs off of the rear it comes on plane much better and rides better.
