Hey guy's, thanks for the great thread and info. I won't be down at the lake until early april to take our first ride of the year, but thanks to your information I now know what to look for and this will be on the top of my pre season check list. I have a 01, 353. Please keep the updates coming, I think all in all Formula builds an excellent boat, (this is my second) I hope to find no problems.:evilb:

Hull deck issue

Guys, Dont get me wrong my 382 is a great boat ! We have made boating in the keys a #1 priority in our vacation plans. Great boat, Great location. These issues are just part of the offshore performance "package". I wish we would have a government that would take advantage of domestic oil production...we must pay the countries that hate us..wow..$1000.00 a day for boating? sailboat? naw...fill er up

Yep.....I agree Dave! It's all part of it......that thing we call performance boating! YeeeeeeHaaaaaa! Although.....when my boat is done, it will be better than factory and that's a good thing. :D :drink:

How are those motors coming along?

Yes, I wonder if there are any new cases now that folk have taken thier boats out from the winter to thaw. :D My boat is not ready to get wet for some time.

My rub rail is tight so I did not remove it.I am going to remove the speakers from the cabin so I can have a look though.

My guess is this. Formula is a huge name, and expensive. Not a peep from anyone right?

I had my 2000 382 surveyed last week, and hull/deck joint was pronounced perfect. Chesapeake Bay can be rough, but not as bad as the Pacific, I guess. I'm relieved, to say the least...
