Default 400SS with 700's/NXT...?

So, talking with a dealer at the boat show I was told there is a 400SS being built with 700's and NXT's.
Anyone else hear about this. Im thinking it should do 70mph.

The story at New York was 725 Ilmor/Indy's, bound for Europe, to be built strictly as a special request of a dealer.

Frankly, I'm convinced that the Volvo diesel package is by far the best for this boat. I've ridden on them with 502Mags, 525's and the diesels. If I were going big power, there's no way I would trust the NXT drivetrain on a boat this heavy. At least the Ilmor is intended to handle up to 1000 hp...

On bigger water or Ocean you are right. On a freshwater inland lake I think you could go wild on the power if you wanted.

Old adage holds true, there is always someone willing to blow a lot more money to be faster than the next guy..
Eventually someone will build a twin 1350/#8 400SS
Whats a $Mil and change just to say you have the fastest fatcat cruiser on the lake?
LOL!!!
