I am running around 4900 rpm WOT. The rev limit is 5200. Do you think I should try 27 pitch props. I now have 28 pitch props, 1.65 gear ratio.

John,we just helped out the performance of a 292 wiyh 350 Mags by dropping from 28 to 26s. Close,very close to the rev limiters with one person and low fuel,but better all around. Try to borrow a pair of 26's for your 6.2's and see how it does. You also lab finish the 28's and pick up 200/300 rpm. Robert
