Default silent thunder reinstall

I'm having my silent thunder platform refurbished and was wondering if anyone out there knows the best way to reattach it to the boat? aside from the bolts ,Im talking about what type of material should i use around the exhaust cutouts and to seal it to the transom. there has to be a better way than that caulk??? that formula used originally.

Thanks
Dennis

formula never used caulk on them .must have been by previous owner .formula always used gaskets around the exhaust tips and around the outer edges of the platform .i would go to home depot and look you can find pretty much the same thing .in the insulation section they have all sizes and thinkness . hope this helps

X2 NO 5200 ..... you need some "D" shaped gasket Material ...where the flat part of the D Is glued to either the patform or the boat ... a circle around each Pipe .....m
