The weather looks to be fanstastic at this time for the weekend. I am looking forward to the trip down and meeting up with everyone on Sat. What time do you all suggest I arrive at Tices so I don't get boxed out of trying to get into the raft off, sounds like it can get pretty jammed up in there.

JB Brian 292, Cindy 40pc and i will be out there approx 10am. Show up around then i would like you to get in there with your boat. We are setting up the fastechs together facing the island with anchors out the bow and thd PCs facing bay with anchors out bow and have about a 20 ft area between the two rows and connect with lines from the sterns. It will be easy and really improve the way we can all mingle. We are going out early to start it all off and give people the idea of where we want everyone.

On Friday night if you are around we are most likely grabbing drinks at Lattitudes.

Btwdid you ever get in touch with Benn Diss? Is he up for the run down again?

J.B. Marshall 07-14-2011 09:25 AM

I.D.C.E sounds good for Sat, should arrive 10 ish. No I did not hear from either Ben Diss or Chris. Not sure if I will be able to join you at Lattitudes on Fri as I am not all that familiar with navigating the bay and it's canals.

Its really cake to get to because its on the Forked River. If you have a chart or plotter just look it over. As you leave point head north up the bay run to the BI (blinky) marker then to the BB (blinky) make a left head WEST and those are the markers for Forked River and Latitudes is up on the right about 5 mins. The River is all no wake and well marked.

Thanks, that looks easy enough, I do hope you mean West up the Forked River :) Do they have plenty of docking and for a 38'

Never mind about the docking at Latitudes, I checked out their website, looks to be plenty of room.

Ha yeah whoops west. You have plenty of parking there and they don't get too crazy. To make it easy for you, you can park in the lift well right next to the restaurant at night so you will have plenty of room. Everythings well marked on the bay and there's limited turns so you will be fine.

My parents with a 312 fastech, Brian and his gf with his 292 fastech and my fiance and I will be there on my 26PC. Figured we can invite whoever would like to get together for cocktails and some grub on the water before the event.
