I don't work too far away from this boat and took a look at it today. I've posted up some pictures for any OSO'rs interested. Also, the hourmeters read 105 hours and it looks legit.

Yes- I bought it complete. With a little TLC this will be a nice boat again.
awesome keep us posted I love the colors and imron design, start up a resto thread when you start playing with it |
Will do... I gave it a much needed bath today and it looks much better. I'm not going to have much time to dig into this until the end of May but I will certainly start a restoration thread once I have some good pictures to post. For the most part its in great shape.... There are some items that got ripped off from sitting around for so long but its still 99% intact.
|
Glad to see it is going to be restored.
I'll have to look, but i think I have a picture of it with no cover and about a foot of snow it it from last year. Soooo sad!! Good luck and keep us posted |

Good luck! It looked like a pretty solid boat and glad to see it being restored.
|
Agreed. very nice to see the old bird find a new home.
|
Glad you're going to give it new life. It will make a very nice boat for you when you finish it. Good Luck!
|
I kind of forgot about this post and just stumbled upon it. So many of these post die- so I'm going to keep this one going as this is where it all started for this boat. I'll upload some new pictures soon, as to how the 292 looks now! The motors have been replaced, (HP450's) interior all redone, bolsters replaced with the new McCloud power bolsters, and new Livorsi gauges. On the list for this spring is hydraulic steering and possibly -2 shorty drives. It was certainly a great buy and the boat had zero structural issues. A true test to the quality of Formula.
