Both tabs were working fine. Then the port side wouldnt come back up so i repaced the ram/cylinder. then i couldnt get port side to work at all. So i tried cracking the lines loose and running the pump but that didnt work either. Is there a trick to bleeding them or is my pump/motor bad. Any help would be great thanks

It could be the pump, but start with fuses. And get a tester to make sure each connection in the wiring has power switch-to-pump-to-ram etc

If these are the bennett hydraulic tabs, when you installed the new trim ram did you screw in the brass tube fitting too tight. They almost need to be a tiny more than finger tight or else the fitting will bottom out against the ram and not allow the fluid to flow as it should. Check these fittings. They are the ones that go through the transom that get screwed into the trim ram.

Thanks i am going to try loosening them now. i have them tight right now
