Default Height of a 272 on trailer?

I am in the process of looking for a Formula 272 and was wondering if anyone knew the approximate height of the windshield from the ground as she sits on her trailer? I have an 8' garage door and wonder if I have a shot at getting her in there ... or will I have to store her outside ... Thanks for the help!!!!

I think it may vary a little depending on the trailer, mine is about 8' 4" to the top of the windshield.

My 255 Liberator is 8'-4" to the top of the windshield and 20" to the keel at the transom.... sitting level. I had a 272 LS and the 2 boats are very close.

I think it depends on your trailer. I have 16.5" rims running 9.75 x 16.5 tires...twin axle. You might hit your mark with 15" low profile tires but may have to go to tripple axles to carry the load.

I also have a 8' clear opening on my garage (most are 7' these days) and I think mine might clear if I drop the tounge all the way down just to get it in the door. I would have to get a special drop receiver xtra long just for backing into the garage. No way I could get it over the slab ridge at the door by hand. Once I got it in I could move it around with a tounge jack.

Good luck on this one.
