They make 2", 4" and 6" hub adapters. (Livorsi calls this a 3/4" tapered shaft adapter) I assume you used a 4"? Also, did you need a 6 bolt steering wheel adapter, that you only put 3 bolts into to line up the wheel?
Thanks.

I may be wrong here. I was looking at CP Performance's website. They have separate shaft adapters and wheel adapters. If you keep the helm then I can see how it would come out further. Can the helm be eliminated so just the billet tapered shaft adapter connects the wheel to the dash?

I did the conversion from the old VDO to Gaffrig and Livorsi gauges on my old Donzi. I now have all Livorsi on my new Donzi.

What you get is a better looking set of gauges that suck. I am not sure if I would do it again if the old set of VDO's were in good condition. I have had many boats with VDO's over my lifetime and now on my 3rd with Livorsi (or Gaffrig by Livorsi) and I can safely say that the VDO's are a superior product even though they don't have the bling.

The throttles, if you have the kiekhaefer on the 292, aren't worth changing in my opinion. I went with a Gaffrig unit (maybe the Livorsi is better but I personally don't know). The kiekhaefer setup is better than gaffrig by a mile. I'd take it apart and repaint or have it powder coated rather than spend the dough on a new setup. Others can chime in on the livorsi controls that have experience.

For the updated look though. VDO aint gonna cut it. The controls though is up to you if the look is a big enough change.

I'm now considering Auto Meter Marine Ultra Lites. Are the smaller gauges 2 1/16" or 2 5/8"? And will the dash accommodate monster series tachs and speedos, or do I need to stick with 3 3/8"? I'm not planning to use bezels.
