Guys.....

I've got a 98 312 with 454 MPI's stock. Currently has 4 blade 30p props on it. I'm getting 76 on GPS at 4800 port and 4900 stb.

I'm thinking that might be the sweet spot for the motor/ prop combo....

Was wondering what other 312's were seeing with what motors/ props and so on?

is 76 on the speedo seems a little high for that setup

Ya.....it was on GPS. I'd like it to run what the speedo says

I'm surprised at that number.
I had a 2000 312 with the 7.4 MPI's, 28p props and ran mid 60,s at best.
