I am looking for a VDO volt meter and speedo for a 1996 formula.

They are the ocean series without a bezel and locking ring on the back.

You can probalby get new replacements from VDO that are almost identical. I did it on my 96' 303 a few years ago, and they were not expensive. VDO is now owned by Siemens. Do a search for either VDO or Siemens on the internet. Hope this helps.
