ST flaps?

I was thinking of the same thing. Mine is not running yet and the only reservation I could think of was if there was a lot of backwash coming down off plane that would get into the platform suddenly. ???

I ran mine with out them with know trouble, you can also drill a couple of extra holes under platform to help any extra water drain. Inside the platform there is a piece of fiberglass that acts as a baffle inside, if you look inside you will see it maybe 8-10 inches in, many of us cut that out for more sound. You will not have to worry about reversion as the exhaust sits a little higher in the platform.

Cool. Thanks. That's the first thing I'm doing when I get her home. Darn tranny needs rebuilt. Mine already has the holes cut out on the bottom and I believe the baffle is cut out too. Just looks hollow in there.
