The big issue in my mind are the engines, earlier in this thread it was stated that the guy actually filled the motors with water. Man this guy was out for the banks blood. Often when water is introduced into a motor and is it not removed and someone trys to start it they bend the rods trying to compress the water in the cylinders. And another major concern is the rust of the cylinder bores lifter bores etc and what about freezing and cracking the blocks and heads and manifolds ???? I wonder if they just tossed in three new motors long blocks or what?
Now the fix it costs are really climbing up.
I can't see how the dealer can make any money if they are paying employees to work on it.
That is why people buy stuff like that as individuals, and put sweat equity into the project. There are a lot of really brilliant people on this web site that take pride in their projects to the point of showing the entire job with descriptions as they go through the re conditioning. Does anyone know if they put in new motors ???
