Can anyone tell me the legal number of people the boat can hold ?

that boat might have a tag in it which says, otherwise I think it goes bye the number of lifejackets, don't think you will want more then 5/6

There is no legal number for that boat. If they fit your legal. 5/6 is the realistic max though as 88242 said.

Here is more info than you will ever need, but Length x Beam / 15 is a rough rule to use. so... 27x8.25=222.75 /15= 14.8

Good luck getting 14 people in a 272!
