Default Another 311 Kaama

http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/boa/2617148219.html

Can't imagine what shape it's really in....hate to see one of these left to rot like that.

What's the latest on Kaama boots? Anybody stepped up to make new ones?

Too much money... Way too much for a boat that the owner likely can't even start. Someone needs to walk in about January with 5K and walk out with a solid 4mon project

Looking how it is stored, I would be scared that the stringers are crap at this point! $5k at lease you could make it up in parts. Doubt the trailer would make it back to Indiana without work...

Date on the pictures is over a year old too... I think he's got one too many zeros on that price.

Man what a shame i mean a shame.

I read a post awhile back about someone had made some boots. I have a couple so i'm good to go. I read in the Sutphen forum that guys were using tire tubes to cove the joints with great success!

Pass some my way... maybe I can put my 303 on CL for $212,000 or trade for 50' Nortech. Firm.

Did he say whether it runs?

To me, old dates on pics don't mean much other than an indication of how new/old the camera is.

We all know the value is in the unique nostalgia. Even if you paid $15k and put another $20k into it, that's less than the depreciation hit you'd take on buying a newer boat.
