Hurricane Irene must have left a bad taste in a lot of boaters mouths. A lot of boats never went back in after being pulled. I know that we were never able to get a full weekend in. Saturday would be nice Sunday would be windy and overcast or vice versa.
I changed the oil in both motors last weekend. All that's left is to change fuel filters and run anitfreeze through. I change the fuel filters right before I run the antifreeze through. I pour a little outboard oil in the new filter and then run the engine, kind of self fogs the engine.

I had to work this week-end but will be on Lake St. Clair tomorrow. Temp is predicted to be 78*. That's why you don't winterize early. Only part time boaters boat from Memorial Day to Labor Day. I always get out once or twice in November.

already out this morning and time for another tank of fuel
