I have a '98 312 with twin 502's. It really is a solid boat. 3-5 foot seas with no problem at 45-50mph. Just skip across the top of them when you're planed right.
Top speed on GPS was 76 so far. It was perfectly smooth water though. I have Bravo 1 30P props on there also.
I've only had the boat a few months and I love it. My friends all have different boats, Sunsations, Donzi's and Fountains.
I still the like the ride in mine the best.

Hey guys just purchased a 312, was wondering if anyone could help me with the step dimensions. Need to add to my trailer and hoist bunks so the boat does not rest on the step.

I had that data long ago but couldn't tell you where it is now. I got it by asking Formula.....they sent me the boat specs in 24 hours that listed steps, center of gravity and everything else I needed.
